Christeen Austria Inauguration

Adding a golden feather in its annals, the Christeen Ministry started its first overseas chapter in Austria- the Christeen Austria. It has been registered as a non-profit Charitable Organization for the benefit of Teenagers and youngsters.


In an auspicious and beautiful ceremony conducted at ‘Franziskanerkloster’, a monastery close to Vienna, on 5th and 6th June, 2017, Fr. Florian Parth formerly inaugurated the Christeen activities in Austria by the lighting the candle.

 

Ms.P.V. Marykutty, the founder of Christeen Ministry handed over the candle to the family of Mr. Gerhard and wife Renate Kornhuber, who have been taken the initiative to start Christeen Ministry in Austria as per God’s plan. It was a spirit filled, beautiful and unforgettable event.

The programme was blessed by the presence prominent personalities including Rev.Fr.Gino Henriques CSsR (International director of World Evangelization - 2033), Rev. Fr. John Oh ( Founder of Congregation of the Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus, South Korea), Hon'ble Justice Kurian Joseph (Supreme Court Of India), Mr. Joseph Melookaran CPA (President, JMA Information Technology Inc.USA), Rev. Fr. James Manjackal MSFS, Br. Dr. James Shin (Superior General of Kkottongnae Community, South Korea), Rev. Fr. Florian Parth etc.


Friends and well wishers from different countries, including Austria, Germany, United States, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, and India attended the programme.

 

Ms. P.V. Marykutty (Foundress and International Coordinator of the Christeen Ministry) welcomed all participants to the conference. Mr. Biju Thomas, The General Coordinator of Christeen Ministry expressed the sincere gratitude in his vote of thanks for all those who have contributed in one or other way to make the Christeen Austria inauguration programme a great success.


Mr. Santhosh T., Programme Coordinator of Christeen Ministry congratulated and appreciated Mr. Gerhard Kornhuber, Mrs. Renate Kornhuber and their son Mr. Dominik Kornhuber for coordinating the Vienna program admirably. Dr. Elisabeth Reisinger’s active support was very helpful for the success of the programme.


The cultural programme presented by the Kkottangne Community of South Korea was one of the delightful moments in the concluding session of the function.

 

As a part of expanding Christeen Ministry’s service in Europe, Mr. Sepp Koller, the Slovakian representative arranged a one-day seminar for the parents and children at Nativity of Mother Mary Chapel in Slovakia. Forty Children and their parents were there to participate in the seminar. Participants were very appreciative of the opportunity to take part in a Christeen seminar to experience God’s love and power of the Holy spirit.


Though Christeen Ministry currently serves 32 countries across the globe, Christeen Austria is the first of its overseas chapter.


Along with the inauguration ceremoney, the first ‘Christeen Evangelization International Conference’ was also held. The Christeen Team also participated the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Charismatic Renewal held in Rome, June 2017.
